Guimaras State University (GSU) has been granted a Certificate of Compliance by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board for Food Technology after successfully meeting the requirements set under Republic Act No. 11052.
Issued on June 2, 2025, the certification attests that the university satisfactorily complied with the standards and regulatory provisions prescribed for educational institutions offering Food Technology programs.
The recognition came following an inspection and monitoring activity conducted by the Professional Regulatory Board for Food Technology together with the PRC. The evaluation covered the university’s adherence to academic and professional requirements mandated under the law governing the practice of Food Technology in the Philippines.
