Guimaras State University (GSU) joined the Trabaho at Serbisyo Hatid sa Bayan 2026 on September 8–9 at SM City Iloilo, as the Civil Service Commission (CSC) marked its 126th anniversary through a two-day convergence of employment opportunities and government services.
Anchored on the theme “Dangal sa Tungkulin,” the initiative brought essential public services and career opportunities within closer reach of citizens, gathering national government agencies, local offices, and institutional partners in a common venue. Its design moved beyond the conventional job fair, creating a more integrated setting where the public could access employment information alongside frontline government services.
Representing the GSU Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), Ms. Julie Ann P. Patrocinio and Ms. Angela P. Camus engaged with prospective applicants and provided information on the University’s current faculty vacancies.
GSU featured seven academic faculty positions, including one Instructor III opening in Mechanical Engineering and six Instructor I positions in Computer Science, Industrial Technology (Automotive), Electrical Engineering, Packaging Engineering/Industrial Technology, Agribusiness, and Music Education.
