Dr. Lilian Diana B. Parreño, President of Guimaras State University (GSU), led a series of successful Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) signings with three renowned universities in Indonesia: IPB University (Institut Pertanian Bogor University), Universitas Pakuan, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Pontianak. The MOU signings, which took place from February 21 to February 24, 2023, are designed to strengthen academic and research collaborations between the institutions and to open up opportunities for student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, and cross-border academic development.

This initiative aims to build stronger educational ties between Guimaras State University and its Indonesian counterparts, which is directly aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. Through these partnerships, GSU is working to foster an inclusive and globally competitive educational environment for its students and faculty.
