ADMINISTRATION HOLDS GENERAL FACULTY MEETING IN PREPARATION FOR THE START OF CLASSES NEXT WEEK.

GUIMARAS STATE COLLEGE – Faculty convened in the Agri-Eco Convention Center for the General Faculty Meeting as part of the preparation of the College for the upcoming start of classes on August 5, 2019. In the said meeting, Dr. Ruby D. Catalan (OIC-VPAA) discussed the faculty loading, guidelines on travel, classroom engagements, and attendance of faculty members to various training and seminars. Other matters presented were the Contract of Service, Exemption from BIR of all Part-time Instructors and Library use. It also served as a venue for the faculty to raise their concerns related to Instruction. Furthermore, the Information Technology Department was requested to conduct training for their newly developed “E-Class Record” which will be used by all faculty members.

Dr. Rogelio T. Artajo (College President) was also present in the said meeting to listen, assist and address the concerns of the faculty members. He also reminded the members of the Institution to “Smile” while working in the Institution.
