GSU launches ‘Save ME’ Project for Environmental Stewardship Success

Guimaras State University’s dedication to environmental stewardship reached new heights with the launch of the “Save Me” project on May 10, 2024. This initiative, encompassing the Solid Waste Management Policy and Save the Marine Ecosystem Project, embodied the university’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
The program’s launch marked a significant milestone in the university’s efforts to promote eco-consciousness and cultivate a culture of environmental care among students, faculty, and the wider community.
Guimaras State University believed that, armed with the necessary knowledge and tools, ecological footprints could be minimized. As the university embarked on this transformative journey towards a greener future, all GSUhanons and community members were invited to join hands in championing the cause of environmental conservation.
