Guimaras State University, through its College of Arts and Sciences, has initiated a Community Extension Program designed to enhance physical fitness among Zumba Wellness Club members. The program incorporates Health-Related Fitness Tests and Calisthenics Exercises, providing participants with an opportunity to assess their fitness levels, establish health goals, and strengthen community bonds.

Held on October 6, 2023, the event was organized by the Physical Education Department and faculty members. The fitness assessments focused on evaluating body composition, muscular strength, and flexibility, offering participants personalized feedback to help them make informed health decisions. The calisthenics routines were carefully structured to accommodate varying fitness levels, ensuring an inclusive and engaging experience for all attendees.

Beyond physical exercise, the initiative emphasized the importance of holistic well-being, fostering a sense of belonging and community support among participants.
