On September 29, 2025, Guimaras State University (GSU) held its regular flag-raising ceremony at the GSU Grounds, followed by the oath-taking of newly promoted staff members.

The oath of office was administered before University President Dr. Lilian Diana B. Parreño, together with key officials of the institution, at the Office of the President.

In her message, Dr. Parreño congratulated the promotees, underscoring that promotions signify both an opportunity and a responsibility. She emphasized that their roles extend beyond completing routine tasks, as they contribute to shaping the institution’s culture of service and to the broader development of the Province of Guimaras and the nation.

Also present as witnesses were vice presidents and other officials who expressed their support for the newly promoted staff.
