GSU-TUP TAGUIG PARTNERSHIP SPARKS ENGINEERING INNOVATION THROUGH PLC AND MECHATRONICS TRAINING

TUP-Taguig Mechatronics Training

The Technological University of the Philippines–Taguig Campus (TUP-Taguig) successfully concluded on October 3, 2025, marking another milestone in advancing industry-aligned training for future engineers.

The initiative aimed to strengthen the competencies of fourth-year students from the College of Engineering and Industrial Technology, particularly those enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering programs. Through intensive lectures and practical sessions, participants gained both theoretical grounding and hands-on experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), a crucial foundation for the Mechatronics NC III certification.
