GSU’s Dr. Martir Named Dangal ng Bayan Regional Awardee for Outstanding Public Service

Dr. Erly M. Martir recognized as Dangal ng Bayan Awardee

Guimaras State University’s Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Graduate School, Dr. Erly M. Martir, has earned distinction as a regional honoree in the Dangal ng Bayan Award, one of three top-tier awards under the Civil Service Commission’s annual Search for Outstanding Government Workers program.

The Dangal ng Bayan Award recognizes public servants who carry out extraordinary acts of service and show consistently ethical behavior, in line with Republic Act 6713—the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees. Winners are selected by their peers and move on to vie for national awards presented during the Philippine Civil Service Anniversary in September.

The award punctuates Dr. Martir’s career in public service and education. His recognition brings honor to the university at both provincial and regional levels as he advances to compete nationally.

Congratulations to Dr. Erly M. Martir on a well-earned honor that speaks to both his impact as an educator and his integrity as a public servant.
