On June 7, 2025, the University Gym roared with pride and applause as Ms. Kyiana Evangelista of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) and Mr. Jotham Keth Gaborno of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) were crowned Ms. and Mr. GSU 2025 — symbols not just of excellence, but of purpose-driven representation.

Joining them on the winners’ circle were Ms. Glysa Joy Lampitoc from the College of Business and Management (CBM) and Mr. Ezicaiah Joseph Manalang from the College of Teacher Education (CTE) as first runners-up, and Ms. Osiah Jade Sandrea Suarez from CTE and Mr. Mark Denver Ferrariz from CBM as second runners-up.

The coronation capped off a dynamic week of challenges and showcases, where participants were judged not only for grace and confidence, but for heart, advocacy, and their embodiment of this year’s theme: “GSU United: Together We Thrive.”

Their journey through the pageant signals their readiness to carry the banner of GSU across various platforms in the months ahead. They now step into roles that call for more than just charisma: they are expected to be catalysts of student leadership and voices of the thriving GSU community.

The ceremony was attended by university officials, faculty, student leaders, and an enthusiastic crowd of supporters, with a broader audience tuning in through the official Facebook live stream.

The pageant continues to be a staple event during University Week, not only celebrating beauty and talent but also the spirit of unity and purpose that drives GSU forward.
