On June 6, 2025, students, faculty, and staff of Guimaras State University (GSU) gathered before sunrise for a campus-wide Color Fun Run, one of the activities of this year’s University Week celebration.
The event began at the GSU main grounds and followed a set route around the campus perimeter. Along the way, participants passed through color stations where volunteers doused runners with bright powder, turning the morning into a moving splash of color and energy.

Organized by the National Service Training Program (NSTP), the fun run was led by NSTP Director Dr. Ma. XY J. Yanguas. The activity aimed to promote physical wellness and active participation among the university community in a setting that was both lighthearted and inclusive.

The run was not timed and welcomed participants of all fitness levels. For many, it offered a rare moment to be active and playful alongside classmates and professors — away from the structure of classrooms and offices.
