CNER 6 ushers in New Leadership during Oath-Taking and Meeting at GSU

CNER 6 Oath Taking Ceremony

On April 30, 2025, Guimaras State University (GSU) served as host to a milestone event for the Council of NSTP Educators of Region VI (CNER 6) as it welcomed representatives from across the region for the Oath-Taking Ceremony of newly elected officers and the council’s 2nd Regular Meeting at the Learning Commons, Salvador Campus.

Presiding over the transition was Dr. Elmer M. Albaladejo, NSTP Director of Capiz State University (CAPSU), who took his oath as President of CNER 6. Serving alongside him are Vice President Annalie D. Gilongos, MN, RN of Central Philippine University (CPU); Secretary Dr. Ma.Xy J. Yanguas of GSU; Assistant Secretary Dr. Francis O. Pantino of West Visayas State University (WVSU); Treasurer Prof. Richard E. Dionisio of Aklan State University (ASU); Auditor Kent Frederick G. Gole, MAEd of St. Paul University Iloilo (SPUI); Business Manager Dr. Darwin S. Borreros of Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion – Roxas; and Public Relations Officer Adam Jesus B. Bering, MS of Feliciano College University Iloilo.

From Iloilo City: Ronnie Emmanuel, MBM of Iloilo City Community College.

Discussion Session

The agenda featured the formal swearing-in of officers, final deliberation and presentation of the CNER 6 Constitution and By-Laws, and the crafting of the council’s calendar of activities for 2025–2026. Attendees also engaged in the sharing of institutional best practices and took up operational concerns, including the proper issuance of NSTP serial numbers.

The meeting closed with discussions on matters raised by the body, demonstrating a commitment to clarity, coherence, and coordination among member institutions.
