On January 13, 2025, Mr. Beaver Lopez of Partido sa Bagong Pilipino officially turned over a new Water Filtration Unit to the university at the Audio-Visual Room. University President Dr. Lilian Diana B. Parreño welcomed Mr. Lopez and his team, spotlighting the donation’s significance in enhancing the university’s water system and promoting campus sustainability.

Mr. Lopez demonstrated the filtration system’s effectiveness by turning hazy water into clear, potable water, and drank a sample to show its quality. It was also announced during the event that the unit will support the university’s Student Republic as part of their Income Generating Project (IGP).
