GSU Volunteers Join National Coastal Clean-Up for 125th Civil Service Anniversary

GSU joins National Coastal Clean-Up

Guimaras State University (GSU), through the Office of the Focal Person for Volunteerism, joined the Civil Service Commission’s National Coastal Clean-Up on September 20, 2025.

The activity was conducted at the Taklong and Tandong Group of Islands Nature Park, located in Brgy. Lapaz and San Roque, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras. This initiative aims to promote environmental conservation while highlighting the University’s strong commitment to volunteerism and community service.

This meaningful undertaking was participated in by GSU volunteers (faculty and staff). Their involvement greatly contributed to the success of the activity and further strengthened the University’s advocacy for volunteerism as a core value of public service.
