On May 7, 2025, Guimaras State University (GSU) celebrated the arrival of its newly acquired university bus, an investment aimed at boosting the university’s logistical efficiency. The bus, which was officially blessed in a ceremony led by a local priest, will enhance the mobility of students, faculty, and staff, facilitating smoother participation in academic, cultural, and athletic events.

The ceremony was attended by key officials, including Vice Presidents, Deans, and Unit Heads. The university’s commitment to improving its infrastructure comes as part of a broader vision to cultivate a well-supported learning environment.

The bus will not only ease logistics for students and faculty, but will also aid in the university’s active participation in regional and national academic events, sports competitions, and cultural activities, strengthening the university’s presence across multiple platforms.

Likewise, photographs capturing the turnover process from the vehicle supplier were taken.
