On February 27, 2025, Guimaras State University (GSU) hosted the “GS Uranium Training Program on Budget Allocation, Procurement, and Asset & Inventory Management” at the Agri-Eco Convention Hall. The initiative aimed to enhance participants’ proficiency in managing uranium resources, operational controls, financial oversight, and adherence to industry standards.
University President Dr. Lilian Diana B. Parreño punctuated the critical role of effective resource management in the institution’s mission to provide advanced education and professional training. She stressed that such initiatives are vital for the university’s sustainable development and operational excellence.


Vice President for Administration and Finance, Mrs. Janet R. Aleman, outlined the training’s objectives, focusing on improving the university’s efficiency in budget allocation, procurement processes, and asset management.
