
The Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – GSU Student Chapter (JPSME-GSUSC) successfully participated in the JPI Leadership Training and Team Building 2025, organized by the Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – Panay Integrated (JPI). The event took place on February 15, 2025, at Anhawan Sunset Royal Beach Resort in Anhawan, Oton, Iloilo.
The training aimed to cultivate a collaborative environment where emerging student leaders could enhance their skills, exchange ideas, and forge meaningful connections. Guided by the theme “Mechanizing Innovation: Recalibrating Skills and Gearing Up Towards a Meaningful Connection,” the summit offered interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and insights from distinguished speakers. These initiatives sought to equip students with essential leadership expertise and strategic problem-solving skills.
JPSME-GSUSC demonstrated active involvement in the summit, with representation from its officers and other BSME students from GSU. Engr. Conrado S. Calumpita, College Dean and BSME Program Head, accompanied the students.
