Guimaras State University (GSU) has achieved a remarkable milestone in promoting Quality Education (SDG 4) by securing the top position among State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the Philippines, with the highest number of Level IV accredited programs in 2023. This prestigious accomplishment was celebrated during the 37th Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) National Conference and General Assembly 2024, held from March 20th to 22nd, 2024, at the Century Park Hotel in Malate, Metro Manila.

Level IV accreditation, the highest recognition granted by AACCUP, highlights programs that exhibit excellence across multiple areas of academic quality. These include faculty qualifications, curriculum standards, instructional resources, library facilities, research, extension services, and student support services.
