In a stride towards advancing inclusive and quality education, the SEA-TVET Virtual Student Exchange Program successfully concluded on October 27, 2023. This two-week collaborative event, held from October 13 to 27, united Politeknik Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia and Guimaras State University in the Philippines, embodying the spirit of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) for quality education.

The virtual exchange was enriched by the active participation of key departments, including the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM), College of Business Management (CBM), and College of Engineering and Industrial Technology (CEIT). Throughout the program, students and faculty engaged in a series of expert-led lectures and interactive activities that emphasized practical learning, cultural exchange, and skill development across borders.

The program underscored the importance of SDG 4 by providing equitable educational opportunities, encouraging students to gain a deeper understanding of diverse cultures and professional practices. Students honed their skills, expanded their global perspectives, and developed a sense of global citizenship—an essential attribute in an interconnected world.
